ECO LABEL for Wooden Furniture

Products made of wood or wood-based materials such as furniture can cause environmental impacts during their manufacture, use and disposal. ECO LABEL takes into account the entire life cycle of a product and, above all, promotes the use of wood from sustainably managed forests and low-emission wood-based materials.

Some upholstered furniture can be significant sources of contaminants indoors due to their large surface and long service life. Pollutants that can adversely affect the environment and human health often come from adhesives, upholstery materials, cover fabrics or leather. 

ECO LABEL for low-emission flooring shows that the piece of furniture has less impact on the environment and health than similar products without the ECO LABEL label, from manufacturing to recycling and disposal throughout its entire service life.
