ECO LABEL for Printing Papers

Unlike the papermaking process made from fresh fibers, making paper from recycled paper not only saves resources, it also produces less waste water and uses less water and energy.

ECO LABEL for Printing Papers

ECO LABEL certified printed material with a certain percentage of fresh fiber is guaranteed to contain only fresh fibers from sustainably managed forests and forestry companies with high ecological standards. Timber is not permitted from forests that are particularly worthy of protection, such as tropical or northern forests.

First of all, at least 80% of the fibers used to produce printing and publication papers made from recycled paper listed here must be recycled. For papers used for fast printing processes, it is sometimes necessary to add fresh fibers because high speed presses require very high tear resistant thin paper. Therefore, it is not necessary to perform an aging resistance test for short-lived products such as paper used in newspapers.

Printing and broadcast papers made from 100% recycled paper within the scope of the ECO LABEL programAvailable for durable and high quality printed materials such as brochures, books. The papers listed here have also been tested for their resistance to aging and also contain heavier papers.
