ECO LABEL Against Marine and Ocean Pollution

Scientists have discovered that by sticking plastic together, bacteria pose an even more deadly threat to marine life. Plastic is becoming a much greater threat to creatures and therefore humans in the oceans and seas than we previously thought.

Experts fear that glue-like substances secreted by bacteria will stick small pieces of plastic to form larger clumps that marine animals can mistake for food.
 
They also worry that flocculation could alter the natural flow of food from the ocean surface to the sea floor, leading to starvation of deep-sea creatures.

For many years, ECO LABEL has strict criteria for sensitivity to the ecological balance it gives to recycled plastic products and tries to create awareness for both the producer and the consumer.
